Insect and Mice Gut Loading Multi Vitamin, Amino Acid Formula for Reptiles and Amphibians
After years of people with herps raving about how well Miner-All worked, everyone was demanding a comparable vitamin formula to use with it. We knew the world was full of reptile Vitamins which we were unsatisfied with. Dusting vitamins was questionable because ingredients we needed to use, like beta carotene, would not work well in a dust form. The beadlette that was needed to keep the beta carotene stable when exposed to oxygen, is far too large to stick to any feeder prey. We know reptiles of many species are sensitive to excessive amounts of synthetic Vit. A. Gut loading beta carotene is a great and safe way to introduce Vit. A into a food source. We know that vitamins and minerals when packaged together degrade each other over a short period of time. We also know that amino acids are essential to any animals well being. After long research we decided a gut load formula was what we needed. Most of all, feeder prey had to be attracted to the product, so they would consume it. We came up with what we now call VIT-ALL. It is an alfalfa based formula with essential vitamins and natural amino acids. VIT-ALL is packaged dry and water is added at time of feeding to activate the vitamins. It becomes a wet clump that is placed in the prey cage. VIT-ALL contains beta carotene and sun dried alfalfa as a natural Vit. A source, without mixing minerals with vitamins. It smells good, the feeder prey love it and unused portions simply dry up. No stinky mess. After testing VIT-ALL for five years, raising many different species of snakes, geckos, lizards, turtles and frogs with supreme results, we knew it was time to get this product to the public. We are excited and proud of VIT-ALL, and know you and your animals will love it. VIT-ALL is designed to work in conjunction with Sticky Tongue Farms MINER-ALL for a complete and balanced diet. This product makes sense. Gut load with VIT-ALL for essential vitamins and amino acids, and dust with MINER-ALL for Calcium, trace minerals , and micro nutrients.
WHY USE VIT-ALL?
Q. Do I need to use any other vitamin product with VIT-ALL?
A. No
Q. Is chicken feed good to feed my crickets?
A. Yes, for feeding and raising crickets, but not for your herps to consume. Gut load with VIT-ALL before feeding.
Q. Can I put VIT-ALL on vegetables for herbivorous animals?
A. Yes, but use just a little and get it wet first to activate the vitamins.
Q. Why doesn't my freshly purchased feeder prey seem interested in the VIT-ALL?
A. They are most likely full and not thirsty. Wait several hours with out offering food or a water source, and try again.
Q. Should I offer my feeder prey VIT-ALL as a long term food source?
A. No. Feed prey their normal food when raising, or storing them long term. Take away the food and water several hours before offering VIT-ALL. Let them gut load for a few hours. Then try to feed them no later than 16 hours after consuming VIT-ALL.
Q. Will VIT-ALL become a sticky mess?
A. No, if product is uneaten, it becomes dry and easily cleaned up.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This product is designed as a vitamin and amino acid gut loading
formula for Reptile and Amphibian feeder prey.
Deprive all feeder insects or animals of water and food for 12
hours. Moisture added to this product will attract feeder prey to
consume it. Mix desired amount 50% Vit-All with 50% fresh water,
let stand for 5 minutes.
Offer Vit-All to feeder prey at least 1 hour before offering to
reptiles and amphibians. For best results, feed out prey no
longer than 12 hours after offering product. Repeat process as
needed, amount consumed will vary due to number of prey items and
degree of hunger/ dehydration. Discard unused wet product after
24 hours.
Carnivores / Mice and Rats
After wetting product, break into small pieces and feed in open
bowl or tray. May be added to a small amount of rodent food. Dust
rodent with Miner-All and feed.
Herbivores / Vegetarians
Sprinkle small amount (about 1/4 teaspoon per animal) of wet
product on food. Also add Miner-All to food for calcium and
minerals. Follow label directions on Miner-All can.
Important Note
This product is a vitamin and amino acid formula only. It is
designed to be used with Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All. Use with
Miner-All for calcium and minerals to complete a balanced diet.
